It Is Not Too Late
Well, after seeing so many ugly truths of mankind. It is still not the end of world. Although greedy and selfish is human instinct, still, there are still good people out there who is trying hard to save the world like what Ultraman or Superman did! For instances, all of the protests that oppose animal abuse, deforestation, nuclear power development and so on. As long as people have the heart to cure this sicking earth, there's always hope for us!
Anyway, people should start conserving our power sources and water. Try not to waste it like turn off all the unused electric switches like light and televisions. Turn the air conditioner into 24-25 degree Celsius and use power saver light bulbs in order to conserve more electricity. Besides, try not to shower for too long and water that used to clean rices can be reuse again for watering plants and many more examples to conserve our precious power sources and water sources.
Any effort of yours counts. Save the earth is everyone's responsibility.

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
Go green! I believe most of the people know about this quote right. Indeed, in order to save the earth, we need greenish things like trees and plants!
In this topic, I am gonna talk about important ways of saving earth!
What actually is reduce, reuse and recycle?
Basically, reduce is to reduce the creation of trash. People nowadays don't really know how to manage their unwanted stuffs like papers, plastic bags and tin cans. They would simply throw them into the dustbin and just wait for the trash compactor truck to collect. This is very not environment friendly, because these things stays for long and plastics would not be decompose, it remains there forever. So the main point is to reduce the trash amount.
Furthermore, reuse is to simply reuse things that still can be used instead of throwing it into trash cans. For example, like plastic bags, it can be reused again for carrying other stuffs, plastic bottles can be reused as a water bottle.
Lastly would be recycle. This is the most important part that can turn recyclable used things into something else or something new that can be used again. Materials that can be recycle are plastics, papers, tin cans, batteries, glass bottles as well as mobile phones! Think twice before making them into trash, these things may be very valuable after recycling. So rearrange them into different categories like plastics with plastics, papers with papers for recycling.
As for me living in Malaysia, Saturdays would be the best day for me since government has announced that there would be no plastic bags usage on every Saturday! A little more improvement in saving our precious mother earth.

Radiation Pollution
The word radiation is a general term use to describe a variety of rays to which life on earth maybe exposed. There are lot of kinds of radiations including ultraviolet rays, infrared rays, cosmic rays and rays from radioactive materials.
There are three types of radiation-the alpha, beta and gamma. These radiations are known as ionizing radiation which has the capacity to form ions in the body tissues and it is this ions that bring damage to the tissues.
Radiation pollution has bad effect on both land and to human health.
The land that was exposed to radiation will be unfertile. It would not be fitted for farming anymore and probably no living organisms would survive. And this would be too dangerous for human being. The saddest part is radioactive substances would take thousands of years to vanish.
Radiation is very dangerous when you are openly exposed to it. But of course there are also normal effects like in the case of photosynthesis and vision in animals but it could be very harmful to human because to much expose in radiation could cause harmful effects such as cancer, anemia, burns and vomiting.
The effects of radiation to human health would depend upon the amount of radiation the person was exposed to. And there are other factors to consider such as the length of exposure, type of radiation, age, and health of the person and also the part of the body that was exposed.
Today, high level exposure is very rare due to the advancement of technology. It could come from defective or badly damage nuclear plants, ammunitions of factories, and nuclear war . Accidents arising from the transport of nuclear fuel and waste can also results in dangerously high level of radiations. Also there are other small sources or radiation such as computers, cell phones and other appliances which produces radiation.
Radiation pollution is very dangerous not just to our nature but also to us. We should be awake to the danger radiations could bring us. We should be aware of the serious and harmful effect of radiations to human beings and other organisms.
Sound Pollution
To us, we might just get annoyed with all the noisy sounds. But to animals, noise could actually cause them to be stressed. Some animals use their sound to seek for mate for reproduction purpose or navigation. Furthermore, is the balance among predators and preys, noise could actually affect the risk of death due to the disturbance of the detection and avoidance. Acoustic overexposure could actually lead to temporary or maybe permanent deafness as well.
Besides, noise can affect greatly on wildlife due to the limitation of their usable habitat. Some endangered wildlife may ended up extincted. For instance, certain species of whales, bleached themselves on the shore due to the reason of the military submarine which emitted strong sound waves for navigation and ranging, it is also known as Sound Navigation and Ranging (sonar).

Extinction
I believe this logo is familiar to many people, this is the logo of WWF (World Wildlife Fund). Their aim is to protect the future of nature. This organization is normally based on preserving endangered wildlife that is facing the threat of extinction. Reason of being extincted is due to selfishness and greediness of human being again. We tend to destroy their habitat and even kill all these innocent animals for our benefits like selling their body parts like skin and so on. Anyway, did anyone of us thinking of letting our next generation view all these beautiful creatures by their own eyes? In the other hand, protecting the balance of nature.
WWF’s experience over nearly half a century has shown species conservation is vital and it does work. Already, conservation efforts have brought many animals back from the brink of extinction. It has helped to not only conserve rich and varied ecosystems but also delivered real benefits to local people through new livelihood opportunities and sustainable development, but their work is far from done. Destructive human activities have led to the current rate of species extinction, which is at least 100–1,000 times higher than the expected natural rate. This has impacts far beyond the potential cultural loss of iconic species such as tigers, rhinos and whales.

Global Warming
As we all know, global warming is that the temperature of the earth keeps increasing every year. Ice mountains keep melting and causing the sea level to rise, climate changes and so on. Yes, it is true that all these are happening right now. The temperature is rising with an average of 4 degree Celsius during 21st century. This is due to the increasing of greenhouse gases concentration which caused by the air pollution factors mentioned as well as deforestation, which causes the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increased. Well, ultraviolet light that comes from the sun, some penetrated through the ozone layer and stays in the earth due to the greenhouse gases that prevented it from reflecting back to the space, which then causes the temperature of the earth rising every year.

Deforestation
As mentioned, human population, economic, technology has grown onto a certain level which consume more than the earth can supply. Well, this pictures show that the logging activity happens around the Amazon area, which is a natural rainforest's habitat for countless animals. As well as the supply of oxygen that reduces the greenhouse gases that would cause global warming. As the needs of human being increases, people tend to get more supplies from legal or illegal sources in order to fulfill the consumption as well as making a fortune with it. Deforestation without planning or regrowing of trees is a very selfish, greedy and unwise decision. This not only lead to the destruction of the earth as well as depriving the home of countless animals. Well, deforestation has caused so many animals homeless, hungriness and maybe killed due to lacking of a place to conceal themselves.

Air Pollution
What do you see from this picture? A very well developed city? Forest of concrete? Yes it is, but today we focus on the background of this city, the air. This hazy layer of air, it is indeed horrible level of air pollution. Why and how is it so? This kind of destruction to the earth always lead to us, human being. However, have we ever noticed that?
As in improving in advancement of human technology, and economic, industrial would be growing altogether with no doubt. Well, human needs are increasing years after years. This is where the problems come from, human's greediness.
Owning a car has became more and more common already. Every family that lives in city owns a car or maybe more. Anyway, having more cars around also can be known as, more total pollutant gas would be emitted from the car exhaust every year. Well, number of car is proportional to the level of air pollution.
Besides, forest burning could have caused serious air pollution as well as open burning of trash.
Earth is sick, and we caused it.

Water Pollution
Water is essential to our everyday life. However, city persons like us, drinking, showering, cooking with clean water everyday. Do everyone really conscious about where is the water came from? From underground? Fresh mountain dew? Totally incorrect. Clean water that we are having or using everyday, has undergone few cleaning processes like filtered, disinfected with additives and so on. That is why so many water filter products appear in our market nowadays. The reason behind is that these waters aren't really clean enough yet. It does look clean and clear, but actually it is still contained minerals and chemicals like chlorine for example.
People living in the city, would not think that much. They take these water as granted, but once the water is used, it became dirty and flow back into the sea again, and yet, causing water pollution. This is just one of the causes. Furthermore, like oil spill, pesticides, industrial waste and more would cause more and more pollution to our earth which contaminates the water and destroy the habitat of underwater plants and animals. This will leads to the destruction of the balance of the nature as well as our ecosystem.

Mother Earth
Since billions years ago, an explosion happened and solar system formed. This is so called The Big Bang Theory. earth was born after the explosion, so do other planets. Sun is the core, and all of the planets in solar system are surrounding it, orbiting. Well, the only planet that support life, is our mother earth. After countless of centuries, mother earth has raised incalculable type of species of living things. During mankind ages, human beings have tried to discover and gather all of the species that has been found and yet not all of it has been seen by human eyes. This proves how vastly the diversity of the earth’s living thing it has reared.
However, as my topic has shown, mother earth needs to be saved, but why? The reason would be after years and years of improving in advancement of human being’s technology, economic and increasing in population, global consumption as well as waste products, earth has been terribly polluted. Still, some people are still oblivious about it. In this blog, I am going to talk about some of the damages that have caused by human being to our mother earth, as well as ways of recovering or conserving it.
